Boris Keller Single Image Winner animals

This image was taken in 1973 at an abandoned farm. The camera I was using at the time was a Konica SLR with Tri-X film. When I saw this cat I took a few shots and moved on. The cat, however, decided to follow me for some time, and as a result she became part of a “series” of her wanderings. I was an active photographer in the 1970s, and have since gone back to revisit many of my black-and-white photos using today’s software to restore the image details. Presently, my primary topic of interest is street photography, yet I am still able to be captivated by a meandering cat.
