   Much as we shun climate change and habitat degradation, we and our planet are intimately aware of each other. You might call us co-dependent, though that term misrepresents the dependency, and our debt. In stockholding terms, humans are the minority partners. Boast as we do about our supreme dominion, about our power to extract resources and drive vain economies of superhuman scale, Gaia can humble us in a hurry.
